Breakout beauty brands, data through April 2026
What the YipitData list shows
YipitData, a consumer data firm, tracked more than 50,000 brands using receipt, card, Amazon and scraped retailer data. Its breakout list ranks beauty brands by recent sales growth, and the leaders are not household names. Skintific grew about 184x, Super Nature about 51x, Magis Lene about 23x, Tone about 21x, and Centellian 24 and Threshold about 20x each.
Further down, Godaperfume grew about 16x, Elroel about 10x, Celimax and Heyhae about 8x, and Force Factor and Thrive Causemetics about 7x. A second cohort is even more striking: brands that had no observable sales a year earlier and now run at roughly $10 million to $50 million a year, such as Remedy Skin at about $22 million and Seranova at about $17 million.
- Skintific: about 184x year over year
- Super Nature: about 51x, top retailer Costco
- Centellian 24: about 20x
- Celimax and Heyhae: about 8x each
- Amazon 3P top retailer for 11 of 20 breakout brands
Sales growth, multiple
Amazon is where the breakouts happen
The headline finding for sellers is the channel. Amazon third party was the top observed retailer for 11 of the 20 brands on the breakout list, including Skintific, Celimax, Godaperfume, Thrive Causemetics and Luxecosmetics. YipitData describes Amazon as working as a discovery and scaling engine for new beauty brands, not just a place to sell.
Other channels matter too. Bare Anatomy Haircare grew about 50x over six months with heavy TikTok Shop exposure, and Super Nature and Magis Lene sold most at Costco. YipitData also warns that concentration risk is real for brands that depend on one channel, one product or one algorithm.

K-beauty is no longer a niche
Front Row, an Amazon agency, measured the category from the other side. Its Perpetua Prism data put Amazon beauty at $8.1 billion in Q1 2026, up 13% year over year, with skin care up 18% to $2.7 billion. Medicube, a Korean skincare brand, grew 217% to $108 million in the quarter and ranked second only to Nutrafol at $119 million.
Searches show where the next wave may come from. Front Row reported year over year search jumps of 36,280% for copper peptides and 6,042% for NAD, plus strong growth in stick formats. Clinical ingredients, barrier repair and hydration are the common thread across both datasets.
What this means for sellers and brands
A brand with almost no US sales a year ago can reach eight figures in twelve months if it lands the right ingredient story on the right channel. The flip side is that established brands can lose share fast to a label they had never heard of, and beauty listings on Amazon carry their own rules, covered in our guide to Amazon beauty listing compliance.
What sellers should do
These steps follow from the data and apply to most beauty and personal care brands:
- Track ingredient and format search terms monthly and build ad groups for rising ones, such as peptides and sticks
- Rewrite titles, bullets and images around clinical benefits, using our Amazon listing optimization checklist
- Protect branded search with defensive campaigns before new K-beauty rivals bid on your name
- Spread risk across at least two channels, for example Amazon plus TikTok Shop or a retailer
- Get a free Amazon audit to find wasted ad spend and missed search terms
- Follow more brand and category stories on the ecommerce marketplace news channel
Scale a beauty brand on Amazon
- Track ingredient searches monthly
- Lead listings with clinical benefits
- Defend branded search
- Add a second channel
- Bid from margin after fees
Where PPC Spider helps
PPC Spider is an Amazon and marketplace agency. Our Amazon PPC management team and SpiderOS platform watch bids, budgets, search terms and stock, and set target ACoS from product margin after fees, so a beauty brand can scale into a rising trend without overpaying for clicks.
