What Amazon announced
Amazon said sellers can connect eBay, Shopify, TikTok Shop and Walmart accounts to Seller Central, with more channels planned. Setup sits under the Settings menu in the top navigation bar and takes a few clicks. Marketplace Pulse reported on September 24 that the tools were announced at Amazon's annual Accelerate seller conference and are rolling out gradually to US sellers.
What works now and what is coming
Amazon split the features into current and planned. Today sellers can connect accounts, import and link off-Amazon listings, view multichannel sales and orders, and fulfill orders across channels. Planned features include editing a description once and having Amazon reformat and publish it to every live channel, AI-generated channel-ready titles and details, a single Manage Orders page for unshipped orders from every channel with tracking synced back, and a profitability view by product and channel that pulls in ad spend, traffic and sales.

What it means for FBA and MCF
The fulfillment piece is the big change for FBA sellers. Marketplace Pulse reports that Shopify and Walmart orders can be fulfilled through Multi-Channel Fulfillment in a few clicks, and Amazon's example shows tracking syncing back to Shopify automatically. That lets one FBA inventory pool serve several channels without a separate 3PL. Remember that MCF orders carry their own fees, so check current rates on our Amazon FBA fees page and in Seller Central before comparing with a 3PL.
Shared stock also raises stockout risk. A strong week on TikTok Shop can drain FBA inventory that your Amazon ranking depends on. Our guide to Amazon stockouts and rank explains why that is costly.
Data and privacy
Amazon says sellers choose which channels to connect and what data to share, can disconnect at any time, and that access controls stop a seller's off-Amazon data from being shared with other sellers or used to inform Amazon's retail decisions. Marketplace Pulse notes the tools are free and earn Amazon nothing directly, and argues that Amazon is betting control of the seller's hub matters more than how revenue is split across channels.
The dependence question
Marketplace Pulse cites Amazon's claim that over 95% of its sellers sell on multiple channels, and its own 2026 Seller Index finding that 71% of Amazon-first sellers active elsewhere still earn at least three quarters of marketplace revenue from Amazon. Running everything from Seller Central is convenient, but it puts listings, orders and fulfillment for every channel behind one account. Keep backups of listing content and a fallback fulfillment option for your other channels.
How multichannel Amazon sellers really are
How to test it
Start small and measure before moving everything.
- Connect one channel, ideally Shopify or Walmart
- Link listings and check nothing is overwritten
- Route a share of orders through MCF
- Compare MCF cost and speed with your current setup
- Set channel stock buffers to protect Amazon rank
What PPC Spider recommends this week
Hold off on routing all channels through MCF until after the holiday peak, then test in January when fees and volume settle. Our Amazon FBA inventory management guide covers stock planning, and SpiderOS watches stock alongside bids and budgets. Full-service plans start at $1,950 a month, or start with a free audit.
